A teenager charged with killing his girlfriend's prominent attorney father and her mother with a sledgehammer will plead not guilty by reason of insanity, it has emerged.
Shawn Ford Jr. of Akron is accused of killing 56-year-old Jeffrey Schobert and his wife Margaret, 59, in their own home.
The couple were found dead in New Franklin on April 2 after they had been beaten to death with a sledgehammer.
