A possibly suicidal young mother is under arrest on suspicion she stabbed her infant son to death in a remote California park.
The unidentified 24-year-old was jailed Saturday by East Bay Regional Park District Police, but does not yet face any charges, police said. She was first arrested at Del Valle Regional Park.
Cops stumbled across her carrying the butchered seven-month-old baby around the park roughly 45 miles east of San Francisco at 12.30 p.m., according to the San Jose Mercury News.
