Chinese trucker is SPEARED by an 18 FOOT wooden stake after getting involved in mass pile-up on the motorway and miraculously survives after it misses his heart

A truck driver had a miraculous escape when he was impaled on a wooden stake which missed his heart and caused only limited damage to his other organs. Trucker Li Feng, 40, was involved in a horrific road accident in which a 18-foot-long wooden pole went through his stomach and the driver's seat of his vehicle. According to a local police spokesman, Mr Feng's vehicle crashed into another lorry carrying timber in a multi-car pile-up.
