Scissor-stabbing rampage at Toronto office building

TORONTO -- Multiple people are being treated in hospital for life-threatening stab wounds after a man armed with scissors went on a rampage in a Toronto office building Wednesday morning, police say. “I can tell you that there are between two and five victims,” Toronto Police Const. Jenniferjit Sidhu confirmed to the Toronto Sun. “There has been multiple emergency runs to a trauma centre.” EMS confirmed a man and woman - both in their 30s - were rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries. Two other male patients were also taken to Sunnybrook hospital with serious injuries. Emergency crews were called about a stabbing at 4110 Yonge St., near York Mills Rd., around 9:35 a.m. One man is in custody, but Sidhu could not confirm if that was the suspect. The fifth floor of the building is in lockdown.
