Women who have sex outside marriage should be hanged and men who commit rape "forgiven," senior Indian politicians have claimed.
In a general election speech, Mulayam Singh Yadav, said he would scrap a recently introduced death-penalty law for rapists.
Yadav said men should not face the death penalty, noting that “boys...make mistakes.”
