More than four years after his nephew’s vicious murder, an uncle’s distraught pleas brought San Jose jurors to tears.
“Come back, please come back to me,” Thomas Russell cried on a 911 call after finding his 15-year-old nephew Michael Russell’s bleeding body back in November 2009.
The chilling tape is one of the first pieces of evidence prosecutors brought to court Tuesday in the case against Jae Williams and Randy Thompson, two Satanists who allegedly killed Michael for fun.
The men — who are now 20 years old — are being tried separately as adults for reportedly befriending Michael just so they could make their first human kill.
"I guess I just finally wanted to kill somebody," Williams told cops two days after the attack, according to Mercury News. "I had my chance and I took it."
