A skydiver has died after his parachute apparently failed to open during a jump. The accident happened at Strathallan Airfield near the town of Auchterarder in Perthshire yesterday. Emergency crews were called to the scene shortly after 1pm but the man, aged 56, died. An investigation is now underway to establish exactly what happened.
