OXNARD, Calif. (KTLA) — Three people were killed in separate, but related shootings in Oxnard on Wednesday night, authorities said. Oxnard police received a call of shots fired around 4:30 p.m. at an apartment in the 1200 block of Hull Place. Officers who responded found two women fatally shot, one inside the apartment and the other outside. One woman was in her 40s and the other was her daughter, who was in her 20s, according to police. About 30 minutes later, a second call came in from the 200 block of South Marquita Street, just a couple of miles away. At that location, officers found a man in his 50s dead from a gunshot wound. Police said the gunshot may have been self-inflicted. Police said the two scenes are related. They are investigating the relationship between the victims, as well as a possible motive.
