An Oregon teen was taken off life support after he attempted to commit suicide by hanging himself from playground equipment at an elementary school. Jadin Bell, 15, was driven to take his own life because he was bullied for being homosexual, according to his family. Officials at Bell's school, La Grande High School, said they were investigating reports that Bell was being bullied at the time that he hung himself. Bell had already suffered brain damage when a passerby found him hanging from playground equipment at Central Elementary School in La Grande, Oregon on the afternoon of January 19. He was rushed to Doernbecher Children's Hospital in Portland and put on life support, but as he was monitored for the next couple days, doctors found little brain activity. His family ultimately decided to take him off life support over the weekend.

"He who can, does. He who cannot, teaches."
"Being is substance and life; life manifests by movement; movement is perpetuated by equilibrium; equilibrium is therefore the law of immortality.
"The doctrine of equality!... But there exists no more poisonous poison: for it seems to be preached by justice itself, while it is the end of justice.... "Equality for equals, inequality for unequals" that would be the true voice of justice: and, what follows from it, "Never make equal what is unequal."
