A man fatally stabbed his girlfriend before using the blade to slice his own throat in outside their Brooklyn home Saturday, sources said.
The 44-year-old man was alive when cops found him inside the 51st St. building in Sunset Park after a passerby saw Tara Beardsall, 31, lying on the sidewalk and called 911 about 10:30 a.m., sources said.
“She had a big gash on her neck and there was blood everywhere,” said neighbor Wilfredo Acosta, 57. “She was on her back rolling side to side.”
The couple was taken to Lutheran Medical Center, where Beardsall died. The unidentified boyfriend was listed in critical condition.

"He who can, does. He who cannot, teaches."
"Being is substance and life; life manifests by movement; movement is perpetuated by equilibrium; equilibrium is therefore the law of immortality.
"The doctrine of equality!... But there exists no more poisonous poison: for it seems to be preached by justice itself, while it is the end of justice.... "Equality for equals, inequality for unequals" that would be the true voice of justice: and, what follows from it, "Never make equal what is unequal."
