The homicide squad is investigating the deaths of two prisoners whose bodies were found in their cell at Sydney's Silverwater jail.
The bodies of the men, aged 41 and 47, were found around 6:15am (AEDT) at the Metropolitan Remand and Reception Centre during a morning head count.
The ABC understands police are treating the deaths as either a murder-suicide or double suicide.
