An Alaska State Trooper helicopter with three people on board crashed in the south-central part of the state during a mission to rescue a stranded snowmobiler this weekend.
Trooper spokeswoman Megan Peters said the crash site was spotted Sunday and no survivors have been found, but she could not immediately confirm that the three on board were killed.
Peters said the trooper helicopter, Helo-1, was on a mission Saturday night to pick up a snowmobiler stranded near Larson Lake east of Talkeetna (tal-KEET-nah), in the Matanuska-Susitna Borough.

"He who can, does. He who cannot, teaches."
"Being is substance and life; life manifests by movement; movement is perpetuated by equilibrium; equilibrium is therefore the law of immortality.
"The doctrine of equality!... But there exists no more poisonous poison: for it seems to be preached by justice itself, while it is the end of justice.... "Equality for equals, inequality for unequals" that would be the true voice of justice: and, what follows from it, "Never make equal what is unequal."
