Disabled British woman, her invalid mother and father shot dead in Costa del Sol 'murder suicide': Bodies had 'been there for DAYS'

Three members of a British family have been found shot dead on the Costa Del Sol in a suspected murder-suicide. The bodies - believed to be those of a couple and their daughter in her 20s - were discovered by their landlord in a rented apartment in Mijas, near Fuengirola, this morning. Neighbours this evening named the dead man as Philip Wood and his daughter as Sophie, who was believed to have been disabled. Her mother - whose name is not yet known - was thought to have been ill for some time. Detectives are working on the theory that the husband killed his wife and daughter before turning the gun on himself. It is believed the family had financial problems and debt collectors had visited the £350,000 villa just days ago.
