An argument between a father and son turned violent after the son stabbed his dad several times with a pair of scissors before severing off his own hands with a saw, police said today.
Gregory Dunn, 59, and Jason Dunn, 27, from Shasta County, California, are in hospital in serious condition after the gruesome incident, which unfolded in the driveway of their home on Monday afternoon.
Police are investigating the incident as an attempted homicide.
