A 27-year-old man is behind bars after allegedly killing a puppy by putting it in a running dishwasher to keep it from defecating in his apartment.
Marcus Curry has been charged with aggravated animal cruelty after leaving the tiny German Shepherd in the dishwasher 'too long' before dumping its dead body in a trash can on Wednesday.
The Memphis resident was arrested after a maintenance man found the dead canine in a red duffel bag in a dumpster near Curry's Eden at Watersedge Apartments home on South Mendenhall Rd.
