A 7-year-old child was reportedly raped in the restroom of an Indian train, then handed 10 rupees (16 cents).
The brutal attack happened while the girl was traveling on the Howrah-Kurla Express through the central Indian state of Chhattisgarh, The Times of India reports.
The victim told police that a man had followed her to the toilet compartment of the train early Saturday morning. He allegely forced her inside a stall, raped her, wrapped her in cloth, then dumped her bleeding body at the Bilaspur railway station.
