A man who plunged nearly 90ft to his death after climbing up a crane at midnight and walking along the jib had consumed 22 alcoholic drinks beforehand, an inquest in Sydney heard today.
Fenwick Joyce, 29, had also taken cocaine and amphetamines at a party earlier in the night.
The budding construction manager and his two friends then decided to leave the party, celebrating Australia Day, and climb up the crane.
