A burglar has been jailed for 18 years after he carried out a revenge sex attack on a woman by returning to her home and raping her years after she reported a previous break-in to police. Ashley Mills, 28, smashed his way into his victim's home with an iron bar, grabbed a carving knife from the kitchen cupboard and told her: 'I've come to rape you.' Linda, who has waived her right to anonymity but has not revealed her surname, has spoken of her terror following the brutal and 'prolonged' attack after Mills was released from prison. 'I thought Ashley Mills was going to kill me so he would not leave a witness who could identify him,' she said today.
