Three children have died after a fire broke out in a Louisiana mobile home they were staying in on Christmas Day.
Their father was seriously burned as he tried to rescue a 12-year-old girl, and two boys aged 11 and nine, as flames quickly took hold of the home at about 1.30am.
At least eight people were inside the home, in Whispering Oaks Trailer Park, including the children who were visiting from Alabama.

"He who can, does. He who cannot, teaches."
"Being is substance and life; life manifests by movement; movement is perpetuated by equilibrium; equilibrium is therefore the law of immortality.
"The doctrine of equality!... But there exists no more poisonous poison: for it seems to be preached by justice itself, while it is the end of justice.... "Equality for equals, inequality for unequals" that would be the true voice of justice: and, what follows from it, "Never make equal what is unequal."
