Two teenage girls die racing pickup driven by one of their boyfriends who is now facing life in prison for their deaths

Two teenage girls died in Washington state on Monday night and a third was seriously hurt after a high speed race ended in tragedy. Rebbekah Barret, 18, and her 17-year-old front seat passenger, Shanaia Bennett were pronounced dead at the scene when their Toyota Camry slammed into a tree along a notorious stretch of road in South Kitsap after a race with a 1997 Toyota pickup. The driver of the pickup, 20-year-old Robert Rundquist, who was dating Barret, returned to the scene and was arrested and booked into Kitsap County Jail after the crash on Baby Doll Road at around 9.40 pm. and charged with two counts of vehicular homicide - which could land him life in jail.
