A married Arizona man is facing a first-degree murder charges for allegedly hitting his girlfriend three times on the head with a crowbar, which resulted in her death.
Alberto Vail Perez, 53, of Phoenix, was ordered held without bond at his initial court appearance Monday.
Authorities say last Wednesday's attack left the unnamed woman with severe brain injuries and on life support.
