In this early silent film by Georges Méliès a miser puts his wealth in seven sacks. The devil appears and puts the sacks in a coffer and later when the miser finds them there they change into seven girls that chase and beat him. They eventually put him in the coffer, when he emerges he finds the girls and his wealth gone. This film was released in France in 1902 under the name, "Les trésors de satan."
