CARPENTERIA — A youth pastor at a Carpinteria church is in custody on child sex charges.
Louis Joseph Bristol, 28, is charged with multiple counts of child molestation, child rape, lewd acts upon a child and furnishing an illegal substance to minors.
Bristol was arrested on Wednesday afternoon after he surrendered to Sheriff’s Detectives at the Carpinteria Station.
