An off-duty NYPD officer fatally blasted his wife with a shotgun on their Queens street, then went inside and turned the weapon on himself in a horrific murder-suicide Wednesday, police sources and witnesses said.
Sherlon Smikle, 33, blasted Lana Morris four times outside the family's Camden Blvd. home in St. Albans around 7:35 p.m., sources and witnesses said. He then walked inside and took his own life with a single slug to the head.
