A man is being questioned by police after both his mother and sister were found dead at their home.
Unemployed John Jenkin, 23, was arrested by Cumbria Police Saturday morning after neighbours reported hearing people shouting.
Armed police surrounded the terraced house at the address in Millom, Cumbria, at around 8.30am.
Jenkin's mother Alice McMeekin, 58 and sister Katie Jenkin, 20 were found dead at the scene. A dead dog was also found at the home.
