A 31-year-old man has been busted for sexually assaulting, killing and tossing in a Dumpster the 14-year-old daughter of his former girlfriend, cops in Mesa, Ariz., said Tuesday.
Only Monday had police publicly identified Claudia Ann Lucero as the girl found dead in a garbage bin early Friday morning. The girl was last seen about 6:30 a.m. Thursday and was reported as a runaway by her mother at about 10 p.m. that night, KTVK said.
Two hours later, two women looking for cans found Lucero’s dead body in the bin outside the Sun Garden Apartments.
By Tuesday, cops had their man: Alex Anthony Madrid, 31, who is accused of first-degree murder, kidnapping, sex conduct with a minor, molestation of a child, child abuse, sexual abuse, abandonment or concealment of a body, and tampering with physical evidence.
