Christian charity tells schoolchildren abortion 'doubles risk of breast cancer'

A Christian charity has come under fire after it emerged it is teaching schoolchildren that abortion causes holes in the womb, depression and infection. Lovewise, which conducts hundreds of presentations at secondary schools across the UK, claims that women who have abortions are twice as likely to get breast cancer. However, the National Cancer Institute in the U.S concluded in 2003 that having an abortion does not increase the risk of breast cancer at all. The charity also claims that 93 per cent of rape victims who abort 'regretted their decision' while 70 per cent of those who had babies did not regret it.
