'Suicide' pilot flies into cliff with his pet dog by his side: Former Navy commander left a note before dying in fireball

A Former Royal Navy officer has died after apparently deliberately crashing his light aircraft into cliffs with his beloved dog in the cockpit next to him. Falklands veteran Andrew Stillwell-Cox, 55, was killed outright with his border collie Archie as the plane burst into flames on impact. Witnesses watched in horror from the beach below near Porthreath, on the North Cornwall coast.
