A 39-year-old Apopka man was arrested Tuesday night and charged with raping his 12- and 8-year-old daughters for the past several years, Orange County deputy sheriffs said. The case came to light Jan. 4 when the older daughter reported the abuse to a school counselor, who notified the Florida Department of Children & Families and later deputies. The girl then told detectives she was raped and sodomized daily at 4 a.m. before her father went to work, sheriff's sex-crimes Sgt. Rich Mankewich said.
