EASTBROOK, Maine — A Franklin woman has been summoned on a charge of illegally shooting a moose on Saturday evening, according to officials. Veronica Verburgt, 37, is accused of shooting a cow moose when her permit was only for taking an antlered moose, according to Sgt. Ralph Hosford of Maine Warden Service.
