Suicide leap at high rise near New York University Woman, 50, is killed in jump

A woman leapt to her death from a building near New York University Monday. The victim leapt about 11:50 a.m. from a building on University Place near 13th St. and landed on the sidewalk. She died at the scene. Witnesses said the jumper appeared to be in her 50s.
