CHIBA —
Police said Sunday they have arrested a 71-year-old man for strangling his wife to death at their home in Kimitsu, Chiba Prefecture.
Police said Kimitaro Kudo has been charged with the murder of his wife Teruko, 69, at their home on Saturday morning. TBS reported that police received a call from the couple’s son at around 7:30 a.m., saying that his father had strangled his mother with a tie. Police rushed to the scene and found his wife Teruko unconscious near the front door. She was taken to hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Kudo was quoted by police as saying that he had lost his temper after an argument with his wife over meals and he had strangled her with a tie.

"He who can, does. He who cannot, teaches."
"Being is substance and life; life manifests by movement; movement is perpetuated by equilibrium; equilibrium is therefore the law of immortality.
"The doctrine of equality!... But there exists no more poisonous poison: for it seems to be preached by justice itself, while it is the end of justice.... "Equality for equals, inequality for unequals" that would be the true voice of justice: and, what follows from it, "Never make equal what is unequal."
