Wanted gunman shoots two cops, sets home ablaze in Memphis

A crazed gunman wanted in two shootings barricaded himself in a house in Tennessee and shot two officers before setting it on fire, police said. Aaron Dumas was found dead in a bathtub among the charred remains of home on Worthington Street in south Memphis on Tuesday, hours after he traded gunfire with Memphis police looking to bring him in on a double attempted murder rap, The Commercial Appeal newspaper reported. Two cops were wounded in the shootout. Officers Timothy Jackson, 26, and Paul Hutchison, 34, were treated for gunshot wounds to the legs at a local hospital and would survive, police said.
