A 28-year-old man allegedly repeatedly stabbed his mother after she asked him to find a job. The 50-year-old woman, who has not been named, suffered stab wounds to her head, chest and the entire length of one arm, according to Jackson County prosecutors. The mother woke up her son, Michael Davis, on Monday morning and asked him to look for work, court records state.
Davis refused saying ‘wasn’t going to be a slave like her’, reported the Kansas City Star. The victim then asked her son to leave the Kansas City Home but he instead went into the kitchen and stated drinking alcohol, records state. When the mother tried to take the alcohol away from him, Davis allegedly stabbed her with a two-inch serrated knife. A wound on her left arm ran from her armpit down to her wrist and exposed bone.
