Trapped in the vise-like jaws of an alligator, a Florida teenager faced a stark choice — give up his life, or give up his arm. Kaleb Langdale chose to live. “He knew he was losing (his arm),” his sister, Rebecca Langdale, said. “If it would have grabbed his body ... he would have drowned.” “So he just took his feet, buried his feet in the alligator’s head and just pushed so that he could get it free.” “Once it popped loose,” Langdale swam to the dock where his pals pulled him ashore and tended to him before paramedics arrived, she said.

"He who can, does. He who cannot, teaches."
"Being is substance and life; life manifests by movement; movement is perpetuated by equilibrium; equilibrium is therefore the law of immortality.
"The doctrine of equality!... But there exists no more poisonous poison: for it seems to be preached by justice itself, while it is the end of justice.... "Equality for equals, inequality for unequals" that would be the true voice of justice: and, what follows from it, "Never make equal what is unequal."
