A 37-year-old man has admitted murdering his girlfriend with an axe. Mac Arthur Cooke, from New Mexico, pleaded guilty to the second degree murder of Vivian Watson, 29, after hitting her over the head with the weapon during a row. Cooke had been accused of killing his partner on January 13th this year at her home in Vanderwagen, New Mexico.
