Dismembered body of man killed by an arrow to the heart is found stuffed into metal drum as victim's girlfriend's father is charged with slaying

The headless, handless body of a man has been found stuffed in a metal drum in northwest Pennsylvania. Police have determined the victim, whom they believe to be Gerald Paul VanDyke, 55, of Union City, Pennsylvania, died of an arrow to the heart before he was decapitated and had his hands lopped off. The grim discovery took place last Friday in Rockdale Township, less than a mile from the home of Richard Alfred Houy, 68, of Cambridge Springs, who is now being held without bond on criminal homicide and other charges.
