A young woman and her recently-retired mother were found Thursday evening viciously beaten to death in their Bronx apartment.
Ida Randolph, 65, and daughter Jana Randolph, 23, were found bound with duct tape and with signs of severe trauma. Their bodies were initially discovered by a relative who stopped by after not hearing from them for days, according to reports.
The pair’s heartbroken family took to Facebook to vent their shared grief over the loss of two of their own while investigators set about establishing suspects and a motive.

"He who can, does. He who cannot, teaches."
"Being is substance and life; life manifests by movement; movement is perpetuated by equilibrium; equilibrium is therefore the law of immortality.
"The doctrine of equality!... But there exists no more poisonous poison: for it seems to be preached by justice itself, while it is the end of justice.... "Equality for equals, inequality for unequals" that would be the true voice of justice: and, what follows from it, "Never make equal what is unequal."
