Women's groups react strongly to street preacher

TORONTO - A law forcing women to dress conservatively to prevent sex assaults would “push the blame onto victims,” women’s groups said Monday. Calling Muslim street preacher Al-Haashim Kamena Atangana’s proposal of changing Canadian laws to require women to cover themselves “offensive,” the executive director of Nellie’s said how a woman dresses has nothing to do with sexual assaults. “I would like to find out the stats in the Muslim countries,” said Margarita Mendez, who heads the abused women’s shelter in Toronto.

“The issue is the violence against women, power and control and it has nothing to do with how women dress. A gunman fired into a crowded bar in Alabama early Tuesday, authorities said, wounding more than a dozen people. Haarup was asleep on her side facing away from Miller. The charges allege he struck her head with a stick. Haarup sat up and screamed as Miller allegedly struck her again in the head. Miller then suffocated her with a pillow, according to the charges.

Animal rights activists are in up in arms over a brutal and highly aggressive form of hunting known as pig-dogging. The practice involves training dogs to hunt and kill wild boars and is the only form of conservation hunting in Australia that pits two animals against each other. Some consider pig-dogging as the ultimate adrenalin rush - a man's sport on which they spend thousands of dollars a year.

Well then, 10.000 posts and the human race has yet to disappoint when it comes to killing, raping, abusing, corrupting, torturing, suppressing, violating, assaulting, repulsing, lying, dying, the continuance of believing in non-entities without 100% proof and/or fact, besmirching, being arrogant, hypocrite, heartless, careless, negligent, self loathing yet self praising, worthless and being utterly -oh, so utterly- STUPID at the same time.

Glad to say though, I'm living a content and oft times rewarding existence in this vile puddle of non- evolutionary repetitiveness. (it's like doing well in the place they described as hell many a time ago). There is no need for disappointment here. Moreover, enjoyment through fulfillment is at a peak, and with the occasional ups and downs -as is neccessary to keep the needed balance- watching and listening from this leather enclothed 'throne' for maybe an hour a day (and of course being out there everyday) I think it's pretty damn safe to say: Fuck you.

HONESTY, DISCIPLINE, RESPONSIBILITY, SELF CONTROL, REASON AND LOGIC are key words and actions (among others) in life. Humanity seldom if ever possess these traits as is obvious. Sure, I could post some blogs about how these actions might sometimes occur (and I did), but the opposite would outweigh it so much that it's even more embarassing to these self absorbed, altruistic -yet vengeful- sheep.

The lame stuff about it's getting better or worse and such I'll leave to the disillusioned and blind. Careful and daily examination will prove the same, time and again, however, where-ever.

Animals know the deal; you either live, die, eat or be eaten, hunt or be hunted. And though intrinsically instilled in people too, humanity tries to 'bend' those rules of nature through whatever scheme possible. But the outcome is still the same. You lose. You are responsible. It's your actions, your words that bring about any type of 'apocalypse' and/or 'revolution' of which the outcome is too predictable. It's third rate, pussified and degrading to no end.

The case of humanity is a truly sordid one indeed, cause they're the only ones who get to write about it... You deservedly enrich that what you sow.

Church leader sentenced for sexual abuse

A young woman turned to drugs and alcohol and tried to kill herself twice after she was repeatedly sexually abused by a leader at her church. Leslie Mervyn Gubb was sentenced to one year and eight months in prison when he appeared at the Manukau District Court today. Crown prosecutor Susanna Locke said Gubb was a trusted family friend who held a senior position at the Papakura Presbyterian church, which was attended by the girl and her family. Ms Locke said Gubb babysat the girl and would often pick her up and put her on his knee when he had an erection. At other times he would pretend to tickle the girl and put his hands inside her underwear to touch her bottom. Ms Locke said the offending happened repeatedly while the girl was aged between 6 and 12 years old.

Liver cancer death rate doubles for men in 15 years

The number of men dying from liver cancer has doubled over the past 15 years, according to new figures from the national statistics office CBS. Last year 468 men died from liver cancer, compared with 237 in 1996, the CBS said. For women the increase was 57% - from 182 in 1996 to 286 last year. Cancer specialist Heinz-Josef Klumpen told the Telegraat the increase is related to diabetes and obesity, viral infections such as hepatitis B and C, and alcohol abuse. Man stabs acquaintance over bicycle dispute

TOKYO — Police said Wednesday they have arrested a 75-year-old man for attempted murder after he allegedly stabbed an acquaintance for taking back a bicycle he had given him. According to police, a 70-year-old man was stabbed in the abdomen and legs at an Ikebukuro apartment in Tokyo just before 3 p.m. on Tuesday. Police identified his attacker as 75-year-old En Komatani, TBS reported. A police investigation revealed that the victim had given Komatani an old bicycle, which had then gone missing.

While searching for his bicycle, Komatani heard that it had been seen outside the apartment of the man who gave it to him, according to TBS. Komatani then allegedly went to the man’ apartment with a knife and stabbed him. Following the attack, police say Komatani took the victim to hospital in a taxi and gave himself up to the authorities. During police questioning, Komatani was quoted as saying, “I felt like he was making fun of me, so I stabbed him.”

Two bus crashes in separate locations in Morocco have claimed 27 lives, including those of a German and a Dutch tourist, reported the state news agency Tuesday. Four members of a family have been found guilty of murdering a 21-year-old pregnant woman they thought was possessed by evil spirits. MIDLAND, Ont. – Georgian Bay Native Friendship Centre president Andrew Mixemong died after being brutally beaten Friday night at the rear of a downtown restaurant when he went to the aid of his wife, who was being harassed by two men. According to relatives, Mixemong, 59, was on his way to meet his wife, Lorraine, an employee of Dino’s deli, when he saw two men harassing her. The men had reportedly asked for food and, when told the restaurant was closed, became angry and one of them allegedly punched her. Mixemong went to her aid and the pair attacked him. He later died in Georgian Bay General Hospital.

Three of the shooting victims were teenagers themselves. Authorities identified the slain victims as 21-year-old Bradley Swartwood, 17-year-old Nicholas Maldonado and 15-year-old Lisa Abaunza.
