At least 31 people are dead and dozens more missing after a ferry packed with some 200 passengers capsized on a river in Bangladesh.
Among the dead was a young mother found cradling her baby's lifeless body following the disaster on the Meghna River in southern Bangladesh early this morning.
Local police chief Mohammad Shahabuddin Khan said about 35 people were rescued after the ferry collided with a cargo boat.
