A man was shot and killed early today in Oakland's Fruitvale District after he tried to help his father settle a dispute, police said.
Tyrone Braswell, 36, was shot in the head near the corner of East 20th Street and 26th Avenue about 12:30 a.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
