A woman was killed and a man was wounded in a Grand Crossing neighborhood shooting Tuesday night on the South Side, police said.
A 29-year-old man and woman believed to be in her 20s were walking in the 1400 block of East 75th Street about 7:50 p.m. when someone in a passing light-colored Jeep shot at them, police said. The shooters then fled northbound.
