A man who shot dead his ill wife while she was asleep claimed he did it to put her out of her pain and told police they had run out of money.
Randall Willis, 61, called police to confess that he had shot his wife, Gilda Beth, because ‘she suffered too much’ and because of financial problems the couple were facing.
The couple, from Tampa Bay, Florida, were due to be evicted from their home which was scheduled for a public sale the day of the shooting.
