MALIBU, Calif. (KTLA) -- Police in Malibu are investigating the beating death of a kitchen worker outside a popular restaurant.
It happened around 8:30 Sunday night outside Guido's Malibu in the 3800 block of Cross Creek Road.
Authorities said the victim was taking out the trash when he was confronted and brutally beaten.
He staggered to the front of the building and collapsed, investigators said.
Paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
