A man accused of breaking into his ex-partner's home slashed his own throat in front of police, the High Court has heard.

He has been granted bail to live at his mother's address on condition he has no contact with the alleged victim.
He is also charged with aggravated burglary with intent to commit grievous bodily harm, criminal damage, threats to kill and earlier allegations of harassment and inflicting grievous bodily harm.
