Up to a dozen people were killed when a Turkish helicopter operating as part of the NATO mission in Afghanistan crashed onto a house and burst into flames on the outskirts of the capital Kabul, officials said.
Authorities were trying to determine the nationalities of the people who were in the helicopter when it crashed, said Hashmat Stanekzai, spokesman for the Kabul police chief.
Some of the bodies were almost completely burned, he said.The house hit by the helicopter collapsed.
