A woman shot and killed an intruder at her Gastonia home early Saturday, according to police.
Gaston County police said the woman called 911 at 1:15 a.m. and told dispatchers that a man had broken into her house in the 4700 block of Chapel Grove Road.
Police said the man confronted her inside the house, and then, she shot him.
