Four muscles in the upper face can show us when someone is lying, according to researchers.

Scientists from the University of British Columbia in the U.S. have identified the muscles a trained eye can use to separate genuine expressions of emotion from deceptive ones.

It is here that signs of our true feelings are 'leaked' at moments of great emotional intensity or pressure.
