A man who ran allegedly away from a crash that killed his back seat passenger on the Dan Ryan Expressway was ordered held on $400,000 bail this week.
Raheem M. Dennard, 25, is facing reckless homicide and leaving the scene of an accident charges for the April 21st crash near 47th Street, police said.
The 2004 Lincoln LS Dennard was in had been traveling at a high rate of speed when it crashed through the guard rail, went up the grassy embankment, hit an electrical traffic box and came to rest on a retaining wall, according to Illinois State Police Master Sgt. Joe Stangl.
