A teenager accused of pouring gasoline on a 13-year-old, setting him on fire and laughing as he burned, has been charged with first-degree assault.
Joseph Gardner, 17, of St. Joseph, Missouri had bullied the child in the past and threatened to kill him and his family if he told anyone, according to a probable cause statement from the sheriff's department.
On April 15, Gardner threatened to hit the boy in the face if he did not let him set him on fire, the statement said.

"He who can, does. He who cannot, teaches."
"Being is substance and life; life manifests by movement; movement is perpetuated by equilibrium; equilibrium is therefore the law of immortality.
"The doctrine of equality!... But there exists no more poisonous poison: for it seems to be preached by justice itself, while it is the end of justice.... "Equality for equals, inequality for unequals" that would be the true voice of justice: and, what follows from it, "Never make equal what is unequal."
